The 1111 Club

1,000 lbs, 100 km, 10 hours, 1 wc

Why?

  1. Why does this club exist?
  2. What does membership get me?
  3. Who are you?
  4. Why this, specifically?
  5. What's in it for you?
  1. The 1111 club exists for those who complete the 1111 challenge.
  2. Nothing. Well, bragging rights, I guess. This isn't going to be monetized, sponsored, or anything of the sort. Plus, I mostly expect no one to join. So, TBD. But I will say, I am an appreciative person. If you make a submission, there's a good chance I'll send you something thoughtful.
  3. No one. Not the valar morghulis kind though. Just a random guy who recently started to lift and run. If you want to know a bit more, check out my not very informative personal site.
  4. I really do believe that consistency and dedication are the keys to making absurd things seem realistic. When I set this goal, it was right on the cusp of impossible. 4 months of training later, it still seems that way. But maybe a little less so? This is gonna take a few years. If you don't believe I answered the question, that's on you.
  5. I really started this because I feel overwhelmed by this daunting task. I'm hoping that others can "climb this mountain" before me, and that I may stand on their shoulders. A comedian (or a pessimist) might remark I'm offering vanity in exchange for wisdom. To each their own.
